Itinerary
Day 1: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Arrive in the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Enjoy afternoon game drive across the rolling savannahs in search of the Big Five. Overnight at one of our recommended lodges.
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Full day of game drives in the Maasai Mara. Witness the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) and predators in action. Optional hot air balloon safari available (at extra cost). Overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Cross into Tanzania and travel to the Serengeti. Afternoon game drive across the endless plains. Overnight at a comfortable tented camp or lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Explore different regions of the park for diverse wildlife sightings. Overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Serengeti and travel to Lake Nakuru. Enjoy afternoon game drive around the lake, famous for rhinos and seasonal flamingos. Overnight at a lodge overlooking the lake.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park
Travel to Amboseli, home to Africa’s largest elephant herds. Afternoon game drive with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight at a lodge with prime wildlife viewing.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park
Full day of game drives in Amboseli. Explore the swamps and open plains with Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 8: Tsavo West National Park
Depart Amboseli and enter Tsavo West, known for its dramatic landscapes. Visit Mzima Springs to see hippos and crocodiles underwater. Afternoon game drive in the park. Overnight at a safari lodge.
Day 9: Tsavo East National Park
Cross into Tsavo East, famous for its vast open plains and red-dusted elephants. Enjoy game drives across this untamed wilderness. Overnight at a lodge overlooking a waterhole.
Day 10: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Journey to the private Taita Hills Sanctuary, a hidden gem. Afternoon game drive with excellent wildlife viewing. Overnight at a unique lodge overlooking the famous Salt Lick waterhole.
Day 11: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Full day of game drives in the sanctuary. Enjoy night game viewing at the Salt Lick waterhole. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 12: Return to Watamu
Enjoy a final morning game drive after breakfast. Depart for Watamu, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel, private residence, or Watamu Beach.
